Get emailed when a run finishes
Marriska emails a run report when a run finishes — pass or fail, your choice. It’s the simplest way to know a nightly regression broke without sitting in the app. Notifications are email only today (no Slack, no webhooks).
Add notification contacts
Section titled “Add notification contacts”Contacts are the email addresses available to notify. They live at Settings → Notifications.
-
Open Settings → Notifications.
-
Type an email under “Notification contacts” and click Add. Repeat for each person who should get reports.
-
Remove one any time with the trash icon on its row.
Contacts are shared across your org and pre-selected when you start a new run, so you’re not retyping addresses every time.
How many contacts you can save depends on your plan:
| Plan | Contacts |
|---|---|
| Free | 2 |
| Starter | 10 |
| Pro | 25 |
| Team, Enterprise | Unlimited |
Notify on a manual run
Section titled “Notify on a manual run”When you start a run from the run-config popover, flip on Send email report. It defaults the recipient list to your notification contacts; add or drop addresses just for this run. Tick Failures only to stay quiet on green runs.
Notify on a schedule
Section titled “Notify on a schedule”A schedule carries its own recipients. In the schedule form, turn on Email report, pick recipients, and optionally Failures only. Every fire of that schedule emails the report. Setup is in How to schedule tests.
What the email contains
Section titled “What the email contains”The subject tells you the outcome at a glance — [Marriska] ✓ Nightly smoke — 12/12 passed or [Marriska] ✗ Checkout — 2 failed, 10 passed.
The body has a status badge, the pass/fail/skip summary, duration,
browsers, a list of tests (failures first), and a View Full Report
button that deep-links to the run. Emails come from
noreply@marriska.com.
The report link still requires the recipient to sign in to your org — see Sharing reports for who can open what.
Test that email works
Section titled “Test that email works”Not sure mail is landing? Settings → Notifications has a Test delivery card — send yourself a sample report and confirm it arrives (and isn’t in spam) before you rely on it for a real schedule.
